Why form a team?

Riding with people you know makes participating in the CycleFest even more fun! Training and fund raising together makes it that much easier to reach your goals. Teams can be made up of co-workers, friends, family members or anyone who wants to do a great ride for a great cause.

Supporting our Wounded Heroes is a team effort and Team Captains are our leaders in that fight. If you can recruit four dedicated people to ride with you (and we know you can!), consider becoming a team captain.

How do I become a Team Captain?

1. Register yourself by selecting "Form a Team."
2. Choose a team name and inform your teammates.
3. Have your teammates register themselves by choosing "Join a Team" and selecting your team name.
4. Set goals and work together to make your Tour experience great!

The first person that registers a new team online is automatically the Team Captain.

If you have already registered as an individual and you would like to become a team captain, please contact us and we'll help you get started!

What if I have team members who raise funds "offline"?

Teams are encouraged to raise funds using a variety of methods: e-mail, sending letters, asking in person and holding team fund-raising events. Online donations will appear on your team progress page automatically. If you would like the team page to reflect total fund raising, ask team members to enter their offline donations.
